The Arcade Fire's, Regine Chassagne's, family emmigrated from Haiti before she was born but the singer still has strong ties to country (and even sang about it on their debut, Funeral). Now the band, on their website, is asking for fans to help the catastophe in Port-au-Prince by donating to Partners in Health, a medical clinic in Haiti that was undamaged by the earthquake and is now doing everything they can to support the medical needs of the earthquake victims.
