The Lion Rocks Tonight!

Haven't made your plan for the night just yet? Check out Daddy Lion, who most recently appeared as part of our summer music series (videos to be posted soon) and support a good cause all at the same time. See details below:

D.C. bands are coming together Friday, June 4 at The Fridge to raise funds in support of The Whitman Walker Clinic. This will be the seventh in a series of benefit concerts that Jeremy Joseph, the event’s organizer, has been holding in DC for local charities since June of last year.

“This one promises to be the biggest yet.” says Joseph. “The Whitman Walker Clinic is very important and I’m happy to be able to help raise money for their crucial work.”

Doors will open at 8 p.m. and the show kicks off at 9, featuring local loves Mother, Daddy Lion, Foul Swoops, Stout Cortez, and a solo performance by Nate Frey of Last Tide.

The all-ages show, which costs $8 cash at the door, will be set amidst Perception Altar, the art of Jeramie Bellmay, The Fridge’s current exhibiting artist.
